Meta Cloud API guide
The credentials Callduck needs to call the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API.
Meta Cloud API
Callduck is ready to connect to the Meta Cloud API once credentials are provided. This page is the quick reference for the values themselves; for the full account walkthrough see Meta Cloud API onboarding.
What you need
- WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) ID — used to sync templates
- Phone Number ID — used to send messages (not the phone number itself)
- Permanent access token — from a Meta System User
- Verify token — a secret you choose for the webhook handshake
- App secret (optional) — enables webhook signature verification
See Phone Number ID to tell the IDs apart.
Where to add them
Enter everything under Channels → WhatsApp. Callduck stores credentials securely server-side and never sends them to the browser. Once saved, switch the channel's provider to Cloud API.
How a send works
- You send a session reply or an approved template from Callduck.
- Callduck calls Meta's Graph API using your Phone Number ID and access token.
- Meta returns a message ID; delivery and read receipts arrive back via your webhook.
> Reminder: business-initiated messages outside the 24-hour customer service window must use a Meta-approved template. See Message template approval.
تذكير: تبدأ كال داك في الوضع التجريبي الذي لا يرسل رسائل حقيقية. اربط بيانات اعتماد منصة واتساب للأعمال الرسمية الخاصة بك للانتقال إلى التشغيل الفعلي.
